I have always known that I work for an outstanding professional company but the generous support and care that was given to us during both lockdowns was the icing on the cake! Wests has been such a huge part of my Australian journey and the people I have met here have become my second family and friends that I will keep. I will be forever grateful for the safe and happy work environment Wests has created for us.

I am incredibly proud to work for an organisation that prioritises doing the right by both the community and its staff members. The overwhelming support Wests Illawarra and Port Kembla Golf Club have offered staff over the past year has been incredibly generous. It is clear to see that the core values are reflected in every aspect of the business. This is a testament to an excellent leadership team who have done an outstanding job in guiding the business through recent times.

The management and executive teams at Wests Illawarra, in collaboration with the Board of Directors, provide a supportive and professional work environment. In particular, their efforts to support the staff and the community during the unprecedented covid lockdowns, and after the return from them, made me proud to be a part of the business. The many roles conducted by the employees provide opportunities to work in collaboration with others or autonomously. The engaging and inclusive environment make Wests Illawarra a great place to work.

Since being hired at Wests Illawarra I have had nothing but support and guidance from all levels of staff. Walking in and seeing everyone smiling and seeing all the friendships that have formed makes me proud to be part of an organisation that people genuinely want to be working in.
