Giving back to the local community
Continuing the Book Drive legacy, Wests Illawarra again partnered with Paul Scully’s (MP) Annual Book Drive in 2024, which ran from October to late November.
Wests Illawarra was proud to contribute to this initiative by donating new/unused books and acting as a donation site for the local community.
We would like to thank our members and visitors for their kindness in donating to this initiative, helping to brighten the holidays for many families and working to encourage a love of reading that can support long-term educational outcomes.
Together, we collected over 350 books for local children, helping to foster a love of reading for local children in the Illawarra region.
