Thank you for supporting poker at Wests Illawarra. Following a recent review, the club has made the decision to discontinue poker events held on Friday and Saturday nights, effective from 1 July 2025.
As part of our ongoing operational planning, we periodically assess our entertainment offering. After careful consideration, we have made the decision to move away from poker as we focus on other forms of entertainment that deliver broader value to our membership. We appreciate that poker has been a valued part of the entertainment experience for some of our members and visitors, and we’re grateful for your support over the years. We’ll continue to evaluate feedback and review the overall experience in the coming months. Should circumstances change, we may revisit poker as part of our future offering.
The last session of poker will be held on Saturday 28 June.
